Caltrans is abandoning plans to reopen a 4.4-mile section of state Highway 39 in the Angeles National Forest between Crystal Lake and Wrightwood, citing rising costs, engineering challenges and a mandate to protect bighorn sheep.
I may be alone with this reaction, but this is GREAT!!!!! They should never have bothered trying to reopen that road.
Yay sheep!! _________________ http://www.cougarmagic.com

From the mine and from the gully, from the hunting trail we come, Pioneers! O pioneers!
This makes me rethink my position that caltrans has no brain, maybe they went to emerald city and saw the wizard! _________________ So many canyons...So little time
