Thanks for the link. I've run this one many times although not the past couple of years. I find it about dead equal in toughness with the annual Labor Day Mt. Baldy Run-to -the -Top (8 miles on service road and Devil's Backbone to summit from Ski Lift parking lot) despite the fact that there is less elevation gain in the Mt. Wilson race. |

Thanks for the info on the Race - 1.01 is fast. I'm going to go try that 8.6 miles on my own sometime - I know it will take me over 2 hours and maybe even close to 3 to do it, but it will be interesting to find out.

I agree KathyW.  Always amazing how fast these people go. 8mph is insane fast anyway you go even in the flats let alone on an uneven uphill/downhill roller coaster! I bet you would go faster though if you were in race conditions. So don't feel THAT bad with your time.
