Tejon Ranch Agreement

There was just a news blurb about an agreement between Tejon Ranch and environmental groups about the preservation of Tejon Ranch.  250,000 acres will be preserved with part of it to become a state park.  The PCT will be realigned to bring it up out of the desert in that area.
The down side is that Tejon Ranch will be allowed to build 26,000 homes on the remaining 10% of the land they will still own.  Also, hotels and golf courses are a part of the development.
I'm glad to see the 250,000 acres being preserved, but do not like the impact that 26,000 homes & businesses will have.
FIGHT ON

Yeah, but far better than no compromise at all.
And very cool that they're going to re-route the PCT.  I've heard a lot of people gripe about the way it's routed through that section.
