PVR Bear + cubbie

No hunting this beautiful bruin!  She has a mouth to feed for a while...

This is from the camera that Matt so graciously rescued from Pleasant View Ridge the other day.

I <3 bears

Cute little guy!

Correct on the no hunting that sow.

That cub looks really small, hope this was taken much earlier in the year.
cougarmagic

Yes - this was back in July.  I'm sure the cub is much bigger now.

I assume the clips were from multiple days judging by the different shadows? Truly awesome footage. I have seen plenty of bears but I never get the chance to simply observe them with out them knowing I am there. Thanks for sharing. And it seemed pretty high, 8,500 ft?

Do people eat bear?  Rolling Eyes
cougarmagic

Yeah, that elevation is about right.  I don't know if they head lower for the winter, or just hibernate.  Would love to find out.

Yes, people eat bear.

It's supposed to be tough and smelly. Confused

I've had chili made in part with bear meat. They probably mixed in enough beef to make it taste good. Plus bacon no doubt. Mmmm...bacon!
TacoDelRio

I hate bacon.

I am alone on this matter.
