The air quality looks awful today.

Seems a little --well----uh----ignorant. But then who knows --it is 2 days away---- one good rain may solve this problem.

Doesn't the run start in Manker Flats? I guess they could re-route to Stockton Flats, but Stockton doesn't have much in the way of infrastructure. |

FWIW: My interpretation of the ANF closure order - Events with a Special Use Permit are allowed unless the permit is revoked. According to the Run To the Top website, the run is still a go.
In contrast, the Angeles Crest 100 Mile Endurance Run (Sept 19) also has a Special Use Permit but it was revoked earlier this week. Therefore, the run was canceled. Makes sense as 40-50 miles of the trail has burned and access to the remote aid stations towards the end of the run is non-existent... |

The Baldy ski area is closed this weekend but is planning to be open for the race on Monday.
