Kit, Tea, 1 EA

Typically when I go out into the wilderness I like to bring along something to drink. Water is all fine and dandy but its taste leaves much to be desired. That being said I made it a priority to upgrade my tea kit, here is the kit in its current configuration.

Containers: Generic Plastic Box with Lid, MSR Alpine Stowaway Pot, Pelican 1060

Pelican 1060 Breakdown (Left to Right):
Clear Lid - Honey: Used for sweetening
Green Lid - Yamamotoyama Sweetened Matcha: Generic Sweetened Green Tea powder, mix with water and you've got some decent tasting sweetened green tea. Sold at most Japanese stores under the name, "Yamamotoyama Iced Green Tea"
Amber Container - Almond Extract: Occasionally I'll put a few drops of this stuff to alter the flavor of some teas. Very strong
White Lid - Sugar: Used for sweetening
Red Lid - Creamer: Used when I want to prepare tea "English Style."
Gamila Tea Stick - Infuser: Used for single cups of tea. Convenient and easy to store. Cheap too!
Syringe - Used for more precise application of Almond extract.

Generic Plastic Box Breakdown (Left to Right):
Blue Lid Large - Vanilla Extract: Occasionally I'll put a few drops of this stuff to alter the flavor of my tea or hot chocolate. Very strong.
Clear Lid Small - Cinnamon - I like to add a dash of cinnamon to my hot chocolate.
Black Lid - Hot Chocolate Mix - Because sometimes, Tea isn't enough.
White Lid - Powdered Milk - Branded under the name "Klim" by Nestle. I like this brand in particular because I've been drinking it since I was a wee lad. Goes well with hot chocolate.

MSR Alpine Stowaway Pot (Left to Right):
Tea Infuser - Ikea Tea Infuser - Readily available at Ikea and very cheap, but the wire mesh will get banged up unless stored properly. Good for preparing an entire pot of tea at once.
White Lid - Power Sauce - I've already said too much...
Red Bag - Snow Peak Chopsticks
Mesh Bag - Snow Peak Eating Utensils [Spoon, Fork, Spork"

Powersauce:

Excuse the poor pictures, terrible lighting but I wanted to snap up these pictures while I had the time to do so. Hopefully some of you gents will build some kits of your own.

I have never thought of myself as an ultralight hiker, but I guess compared to some people, in some aspects, I am.

Here's my tea set-up:

I assume that you just put that thing under your tongue as you walk.  Very Happy

That's what I do, Osmanthus Silver Needle or Snow Sprout buds right into my jetboil at 160-180F.
Though the bags do look a lot like big fat sacks of ganja.
Cool

Almond extract and syringe, Vanilla Extract & Cinnamon; wtf?1!
Where's the Grey Poupon?
Wink
