The white flower isn't a Phlox...
It has a Compound Umbel structure
How tall was it?
What type of soil was it growing in
Full sun , shade etc....
looks like some sort of onion or? I'll will endeavor to persevere
I'm guessing it's wet, moist soil, partial shade in a stream side environment similar to the Lemon Lily
