Creepy Crawly

Spotted this thing crawling underwater on the rocks at Devore campground.  Length approx 1.5 inch.  Hard to photograph through the water surface, but got a couple decent ones.  I think it's a dragonfly nymph.  It was creepy.

We also saw some fish along the Gabrielino trail between West Fork and Devore.

Indeed it is! Lots of those in the canyons, along with the long skinny Damselfly nymphs. Forum Index -> Flora & Fauna & Fungi
