No summit bid or Peak bagging today. Just a nice morning hike. Tried looking for the devils chair after taking the 2 loops but no luck. First time here and it was as nice as every one kept telling me. Was supposed to be 106 but it didnt go past 92 this morning. If you havent been here yet. You must GO!

I've been to Devils Punchbowl quite a few times.  From your pics, looks like you are close, but not close enough.  And you're right, it's a "must see' area for anyone passing through that area.

Thats a cool bird.  Where did you see him at?

That owl is always in the cages at the parking lot, I always feel bad for him as I walk by
