Anyone want to do anything around the Baldy area on these days? I really want to get out and hike sometime because it's our fall break and I don't have a ride home.

YO

How about the 19th? I might go up with my buddy to do some training for long climbs in the winter. Thinking of the Village Trail.

I can do the 19th, but I don't have winter gear so I'd probably just end up slowing you down. I've got backpacking essentials but no mountaineering stuff.

No gear needed, just a basic hike up the longest path up Baldy.

My buddy and I are training for winter... I wish it was winter this soon! Laughing

Up and back in a day? Or staying the night somewhere along the way?
And I'm totally up for either way, I wanted to get out and hike sometime this weekend Very Happy

The only problem is.... freshman can't have cars. I live like 15 minutes from Baldy though.

I'm planning on doing Baldy from the Village on the 18th.  Hike is about 12 to 13 miles roundtrip, with about 6000' gain/loss.

I can't do 18th, sorry. I've been slowly filling up the weekend. I only have 19/20 free now.

I can give you a ride. My buddy is in Army ROTC, and his group/unit works out of your school.

Oh hey! I might know him! PM me the name, I worked out with ROTC for awhile. Then my Captain started sending me my own workout schedule... haha
